Did anyone see the extraordinary “standing man” protest in Istanbul last night? I guess we are all used to seeing huge shouting crowds fighting with the Police, teargas, water cannon etc etc.
But there’s also something very powerful about these stationary, silent protesters in Taksim Square. Needless to say, some were arrested, but it’s very difficult to see what offence is standing quietly in a public place.
“If I were a Chinese spy, why wouldn’t I have flown directly into Beijing? I could be living in a palace petting a phoenix by now.”
Privacy?
Ok Bats, here is your project mayhem. Start an NSA conversation and anyone who says that spying is not a problem, take their phone from them and start flipping through their photos and text messages.
